Today we headed back to the South Valleys Library for their monthly craft program. As I predicted, the craft stations were all St. Patrick’s Day themed. Although the program is only supposed to be an hour, there were five different craft stations and based on last month's Craft Fun, I knew L would want to do all of them. So off she went... There was a shamrock ring made out of a pipe cleaner and three felt balls, a snake made out of strips of paper that you connect into a chain, a shamrock tree (lots of cutting of little shamrocks to paste onto the tree branches made by tracing your hand on the paper), a leprechaun with articulating arms and legs, and (my favorite) a rainbow wreath.

We started with the ring because the volunteer said that was the fastest one. We moved on to the snake, then the tree (which was abandoned to finish later at home part way through because of the extensive shamrock cutting necessary), then the rainbow wreath, and finally the leprechaun. Whew!!! She asked me to continue working on the wreath while she started the leprechaun (which was also taken home to complete the coloring). We both had things to do later that afternoon, so although it was quick, it was still a fun visit!
Until our next adventure . . .
