Tonight’s adventure began with our monthly trip to the South Valleys Library for their craft program. As you might expect, this month’s theme was spring and Easter. There were five different projects to choose from and, as you also might expect if you’ve read about our other crafty adventures, the purpose of the craft program, at least in the mind of a 8¾ year old, is to make sure to do ALL of the craft projects. Even if there are five projects, and only an hour to do them, you just have to color faster, cut quicker, and get to gluing. There’s none of this take your time and enjoy the ride mentality. So, she got to work and, unlike our March crafts where she had to bring stuff home to finish, she actually got ALL of them done. After crafts we spent some time in the library reading and playing with the wooden puzzles in the kids area. We had dinner at Qdoba over a game of I spy, and topped the evening off with a visit to U-swirl. After she was appropriately overloaded with chocolate, it was time to call it a night.
| One and a half projects done...three and a half to go! |
| Chocolate yogurt with M&M's, dark chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips, and chocolate syrup. A girl after my own heart! |
Until our next adventure . . .
